For Me And Not Thee

Blogger Michelle Malkin, co-founder of the Hot Air blog, and right-winger too conservative for even Young Americans for Freedom, maintains

.... I don't think anybody who has worked in this arena of raising doubts and questions about the conflicts of interests financially, the ideological agenda, the threat to parental sovereignty, the junk science that's been used, the cover-ups, the conspiracies.....

She cites an unnamed poll which allegedly indicates "increasing numbers of people have stood up and said 'I will not take the Gates vaccine.'"

Journalist Yashar Ali is right:

Malkin will take whatever vaccine is developed and made available to the American people, whether one financed by Bill Gates' millions or another vaccine.  We know that because

President Donald Trump told reporters on Thursday that he and Vice President Mike Pence would now be tested daily for the novel coronavirus, in the wake of someone at the White House contracting the contagious respiratory illness.

Even as multiple news outlets reported the worker was a White House valet who was in close physical proximity to Trump, 73, the president said he "had very little contact with this person."

He said he was tested both Wednesday and Thursday for the virus and both times was negative, according to CBS News' Mark Knoller.

Trump, Pence and other senior aides had been tested weekly, CNN reported — part of a larger set of protocols designed to prevent either leader from contracting the virus, even as it has spread to other government officials around the world.

Right wingers talk a good game. For Michelle Malkin, it is "the cover-ups, the conspiracies; yes, sometimes conspiracies are true they're not conspiracy theories- they're conspiracy truths, they're conspiracy facts." For Donald Trump, it is "I don't think you need that kind of testing or that much testing, but some people disagree with me and some people agree with me."

But now Donald Trump will daily get a test he recently said isn't needed. He'll do it while downplaying the value of tests is for his adoring fans, the ones who will still vote for him even if he shoots someone on Fifth Avenue.

And Michelle Malkin, as Yashar Ali understands, will accept a vaccine to prevent Covid-19. She will do so for the same reason that Donald Trump will now get tested daily- in their world, dying is for the little people.
